Privacy Policy
Important: LinkLauncher uses Google AdMob (advertising) and Google Play Billing (in-app purchases). These third-party services collect and process certain data as described below. This policy does not claim zero data collection.
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how LinkLauncher (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with the LinkLauncher mobile application available on Google Play (the “App”). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect and Process
We do not operate our own independent servers that collect personal data beyond what is required for the App to function with Google services. However, the App integrates the following third-party services that collect and process data:
2.1 Google AdMob (Advertising)
The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob and related Google advertising services may automatically collect and process:
- IP address (which may be used to estimate approximate location)
- Device and advertising identifiers (including Android Advertising ID / AAID)
- App activity and interaction data (e.g., ad views, clicks, app launches)
- Diagnostic and performance information related to the ads SDK
- Other technical data necessary for ad serving, fraud prevention, and analytics
This data may be used for personalized (interest-based) advertising, non-personalized advertising, analytics, and fraud detection, subject to applicable consent requirements (including GDPR/EEA, UK, and certain U.S. state laws).
For more details, see Google’s policies:
- Google Privacy Policy
- AdMob & data usage
- How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services
2.2 Google Play Billing (In-App Purchases)
The App offers in-app purchases processed exclusively through Google Play Billing. When you make a purchase:
- Payment information is handled by Google; we do not receive or store your full payment card details.
- Google may share limited transaction-related information (such as purchase confirmation and product identifiers) with us so we can deliver the purchased feature or content.
- Purchase history associated with your Google account is managed by Google under its own privacy policy.
See Google’s Privacy Policy and Google Play Terms for details on how Google processes payment and account data.
3. How We Use Information
Data processed through the App and its integrated SDKs is used to:
- Serve and measure advertisements (including personalized ads where permitted)
- Process and fulfill in-app purchases
- Prevent fraud and abuse
- Analyze App performance and stability (via Google services)
- Comply with legal obligations
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Data is shared with:
- Google (AdMob, Google Play, and related services) as described above
- Service providers acting on Google’s or our behalf (subject to their contracts and policies)
- Authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, or property
Third-party SDKs (especially AdMob) may share data with their advertising partners in accordance with their own policies and any applicable consent framework (e.g., IAB TCF / Google UMP).
5. Your Choices and Controls
- Advertising preferences: You can reset or opt out of personalized advertising via your device settings (Android Settings → Google → Ads) or via Google Ad Settings.
- Consent management: Where required by law (e.g., EEA, UK, certain U.S. states), the App uses Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) or equivalent consent mechanisms so you can grant or withdraw consent for personalized ads and related data processing.
- In-app purchases: Managed through your Google account and Google Play settings.
- Do Not Sell / Share (U.S. state laws): To the extent AdMob or Google engages in activities that may be considered a “sale” or “share” under applicable U.S. state privacy laws, you may exercise opt-out rights through the consent/privacy options presented in the App or via Google’s tools.
6. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
If the App is ever treated as child-directed under COPPA or similar laws, appropriate settings (including limited ad personalization) will be applied in accordance with Google’s requirements.
7. Data Retention
We do not maintain independent long-term databases of user personal data beyond what is necessary for App functionality. Data retained by Google (AdMob, Play Billing, etc.) is subject to Google’s retention policies. You may request deletion of any data we control by contacting us; we will also forward reasonable requests to relevant third parties where feasible.
8. Security
We rely on Google’s security measures for AdMob and Play services. Data transmitted to Google is protected in transit (typically TLS). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. International Transfers
Google processes data in various countries, including the United States. Where required, Google uses appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses). By using the App you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will be revised when changes are made. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. Material changes will be highlighted where practicable.
11. Contact Us
For questions about this Privacy Policy, data requests, or privacy-related concerns:
Email: thabrightside101@gmail.com
We will respond within a reasonable time consistent with applicable law.
12. Google Play Data Safety
The App’s Google Play Data Safety section is completed to accurately reflect data collection and sharing by the App and its third-party SDKs (including AdMob and Google Play Billing). Users should also review the Data Safety information shown on the App’s Play Store listing.
